Simple, Feminine Hairstyles
Today I am sharing two fun, easy DIY hairstyles. I am breaking down the basics for mastering a feminine yet relaxed, messy style. Instead of reaching for your curling iron, consider these simple and quick tutorials. Look 1: Side Braid Items needed: -Tail comb -Clear rubber band -Kenra texturizing spray -Accessory if desired
Prep hair with Kenra texturizing spray all throughout ends Followed by pulling all the hair to one side.
Braid down Secure with clear elastic band Pinch and pull the sides of braid to create a full braid effect
Add accessory. It’s amazing how a simple accessory can add the perfect touch of style. Decorating hair with precious accessories has been an ancient tradition in Chinese, Middle Eastern, Ancient Egypt and Roman cultures since the beginning of time!
This piece I used was $1.49 found at Hobby Lobby in the floral section! Get creative with your accessories and have fun with it!
Look 2: Twisted Pony
Items needed: -Tail comb -Rusk working spray -1 elastic -3 Bobby pins
Section from the part down behind the ears and bring forward on both sides Put remaining hair in back into a ponytail with your elastic
Take one side from front Cross hair to opposite side of ponytail and wrap around until ends are hidden Secure with bobby pins
Repeat on opposite side
Spray down fly aways
Bring a few pieces of hair out framing the face, to create a messy effortless look
