Morning Rituals...

Set the vibes for your day first thing in the AM. Unless I have to be onset with a super early call time then these are my staple morning practices:

Journaling + Gratitude Lists 📓 Recently I started writing down not just the basics of things I’m grateful for like (obvi my cats, air, my home, my friends and family, yada yada) but I started writing down all the hardships I’ve been facing and thanking the Universe for these experiences and lessons carried along with them. It’s not easy to be grateful for the tough shit, but I am grateful for the strength and lessons.

Tea time ☕️ There is truly an art of making tea. The patience of brewing, the details of slicing lemons or mint leaves, tumeric, and/or ginger, the warmth of a cup, it’s not only a healthy way to start your day but grounding and calming.

Light, movement, meditation 🧘🏼‍♀️ I heard this on @aubreymarcus podcast. This is how he starts his day + how I start mine. Open up all the curtains, get the natural light in. Move by stretching, doing some light yoga, if it’s not -300 degrees outside, I’ll go for a power walk around the block and then head straight to my zen den for my morning meditation.

Beauty routine 🧖🏻‍♀️ Rinse my skin with water, Jade roll or facial massage, serum, moisturize with SPF. Keep it simple.
