Beauty Food 101


Facials, beauty tools, skin care products are all fabulous, yes we know, but you realize so much of our beauty comes from WITHIN?

Legit- What we put IN our bodies is just as important as what we put ON our bodies. Scientifically proven, we are what we eat. For GLOWING skin and HEALTHY hair + nails, all you have to do is open up your refrigerator and pantry.

I feel like we all probably know this and heard it several times but let’s get SPECIFIC with these healthy reminders to add these beauty foods to your grocery list. Save this post for when you go grocery shopping:

🍋 Lemon: High in antioxidants, Vitamin C, calcium, and potassium. I squeeze lemon on everything. In my water, on my salads, in pasta, on my avocado toast + all. Just don’t put it ON your face, k?
🍇🍓Organic Berries: High in antioxidants + Vitamin C. Helps decrease redness in skin and boost collagen.
🥑Avocados: High in Vitamin C + E. Keeps your skin moisturized and glowing
🥜Walnuts: Another healthy fat that is rich in Omega 3 + 6. A handful of walnuts a day will help fight inflammation, soothe redness and neutralize free radicals
🍉Watermelon: Full of potassium + zinc. Watermelons are full of water which will keep your skin hydrated and helps promote collagen
🥬Kale: High in Vitamin A and antioxidants. Also contains omega 3 + 6. Kale can help to prevent fine lines and promote hair growth.
☕️Cinnamon: This boosts circulation and blood flow to your skin. Add a pinch to your coffee, smoothie, or tea!
