NORMATEC BOOTS: i was a bit skeptical at first but after seeing all my athlete friends, clients, swear by these compression boots, I invested in a pair for @myzendenbeacon and have become obsessed. Def my latest recovery addiction. They are an intermittent compression machine that can be used post work outs, after long walks, hikes, and daily use to promote venous and lymphatic return as well as decrease swelling and inflammation. It will also decrease the severity of muscle soreness + tightness. It has a handful of zones that it will go through that provide compression to your feet, calves, and you’re quads.

RED LIGHT THERAPY: yall already know. Targets mitochondria in your cells, rejuvenating and replenishing them. Lowers inflammation, heals skin, builds more collagen, aids in muscle recovery, hair growth, and tissue repair, and NO this is NOT “woo-woo”, this isn’t something “do you really believe in it”, it’s science, look at the research. It WERKS HUNNI

INFRARED SAUNA: the infrared pushes that heat internally into your core heating you up from the inside out which pushes allllll those deep toxins sitting in your body OUT. Much deeper sweat than a typical workout. Helps with overall recovery, detox, weight loss, and lowering inflammation

COLD PLUNGE: cryotherapy, ice baths, ice rollers, jumping into a cold lake or snow, I’m HERE for it. It lowers inflammation QUICK, boosts endorphins, eases any sore muscles, trains your vagus nerve 🧠, boosts immune system

WHOOP: I’ve been wearing this on and off for 6 months now. Sometimes it stresses me out bc I am constantly competing with myself to have a high recovery rate every day but honestly it’s a great recovery tool. It provides so much detailed data and information along with tracking sleep, heart patterns, and overall recovery data.

Other things to help w recovery: nature walks, consuming antioxidants, staying hydrated (shoutout @mountainvalleywater ), epsom bath, foam roller (i love mine from @lululemon ), stretch, massage, body roll from @bodyrollstudio , and most importantly SLEEEEEP
