Beauty Q+A

Here are some questions that I received while I was in Bahamas. Thought I would share. If you have any other beauty, wellness, + business questions that I havenโ€™t answered, ask me in the comments below ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ:
.
Q: What is your recommendation for a drugstore affordable skin care routine?
.
A: There are so many great and affordable options! I personally love @garnierusa skin active (pink) Micellar Eye Makeup Remover Pads $8, CeraVe hydrating cleanser $12, @cerave PM facial moisturizing lotion $9, @eltamdskincare UV Clear SPF 46 $29, @Cerave eye repair cream $13
.
Q: What do you recommend for thinning hair?
.
A: Eat healthy high fats including avocado, raw almonds, leafy greens including spinach and kale, sweet potatoes, berries. You also want to avoid putting conditioner on your scalp. You do want to give yourself a nice scalp massage to encourage blood flow. Look into folic acid supplements. Also brush your hair BEFORE the shower with a @wetbrush not after your shower.
.
Q: How often should I be using retinol?
.
A: Start off slow only 1x a week at night. After week 3, you can use it 2x a week at night. You want to slowly, gradually, and patiently introduce it to your skincare routine to avoid sensitivity. I use it 2x a week in the PM.
.
Q: Favorite foundation?
.
A: @itcosmetics CC cream. Itโ€™s lightweight, long-lasting, and has great coverage.
.
Q: Have you had botox + what are your thoughts on it?
.
A: No, havenโ€™t had any injections, just a proper skincare routine + SPF daily. I think you should wait as long as possible before you start injecting your face. My page is a Judgement Free zone so do whatever makes you feel best, I support you. But please do your research. Iโ€™ve seen it all, the good and bad.
.
Q: Fav product for post acne dark spots?
.
A: Vitamin C in AM, spot treatment of hydroquinone in PM, Ferulic acid, and azeleic acid. @paulaschoice is my favorite.
.
Q: Favorite Mascara?
.
A: @Itcosmetics Superhero. It has good ingredients that support lash growth.
.
Q: Thoughts on IV drips?
.
A: I think itโ€™s important to have your annual physical first with your DR. to see if you are deficient in any vitamins. If you are then you know which IV drip to get.
