Why I'm about to invest $ in a INFRARED SAUNA

One of my FAV ways to relax and detox is an infrared sauna session. You know when it comes to WELLNESS, I’m alllll for the upgrades. Sweating in a small heated area has been an ancient ritual in almost all cultures including the ancient Greeks, Romans, even Native Americans, because of the benefits to the mind and body.

💥AG HOT TIPS:
- Dry brush before, always towards your heart center
- Stay hydrated
- Don’t eat a heavy meal 1 hour before or after
- If you can’t access a shower immediately after, bring a towel and some micellar water for a quick cleaning, you don’t want your skin to absorb all the toxins you just sweat out, shower once you get home
- Bring a book to read or meditate
- Check with your Dr or health practitioner to be sure this is a good option for you
- Don’t exceed more than 30 min. I’m good after approx. 20 min
- Don’t use any heavy moisturizers or SPF to avoid breaking out
.
💥CAUTION: My fellow melasma peeps, this heat can potentially trigger melasma to darken so you can put a cold compress on your melasma spot to avoid any darkening, k? x
